The path to her world culinary debut had humble beginnings in her home ground of Penang. Her love for cooking was ignited at a young age, where she was always greeted by warm home-cooked food and smiles by her loved ones.
A culinary career captivated her, and she cut her teeth by working in hotel kitchens around the city before making the life-altering decision to move abroad, a defining factor in shaping her into becoming the accomplished chef she is today.
Mandy Goh joined The St. Regis Langkawi culinary team back in 2019, and she has since been crafting her creations for the resort's many high-profile events and galas. The St. Regis Langkawi's signature dining venue, Kayuputi, has made a name for itself beyond our shores. This devoted chef is celebrated for her creative approach of combining modern French culinary techniques to give ingredients a new profile of robust flavours. Each dish is curated meticulously, with a methodical precision that elevates each meal into a gastronomic experience to remember. One of Chef Mandy's most notable international accolades and close to her heart was being part of the all-women Malaysia team to win gold at the Bocuse d'Or Asia in 2011.
